About Us.

Karaville Montessori and Childcare After School Clontarf

Our School.

Karaville is a new Montessori and Afterschool, based in the development of Ardilaun Court on Sybil Hill Road. We are a small Montessori with a team of five currently working here. Our teachers are highly qualified, experienced and most of all caring and nurturing to ensure your child loves coming to Karaville each day to be inspired and creative in their own way. On top of our spacious garden we are also right beside St Anne’s Park, where we plan to spend some of our outside time.

Our Brand.

Karaville is managed by two friends Sara and Kate, who always knew it was their dream to have a Montessori and Afterschool. When designing the brand, a big part of that was wanting the name to be meaningful! Here is our story as to how we came up with Karaville!

SARA.

Childcare is always something I was passionate about and something I wanted to do from a young age. I chose to do Montessori as I was particularly interested in the style of teaching and the way it allows each child to grow and develop their interests and confidence positively.

Having completed a Masters in Human Resource Management, I went on to do a Level 6 in Early Years with Montessori. Since beginning my Montessori path, I have gained invaluable experience working in some of Dublin’s most popular Montessori’s and learning from some brilliant managers and teachers.

I am committed to ensuring that all children in our care feels like Karaville is a home away from home, that they enjoy coming through our doors each day and that they leaving feeling confidant and fulfilled.

KATE.

My background has primarily been in Business and Marketing. After completing a BSc in Chemistry from UCD, I went straight into working in the Events Management and Business sectors. A large part of my role was People Management and I felt a huge pride in nurturing young adults to be the best they could be. After working 12+ years in this fast paced industry, I finally made the decision to go back to college to complete a Level 6 in Early Childhood Curriculum and Montessori. The reason? I wanted to be a part of a community who saw the value in giving our children the time and patience to enable them to grow into the person they each deserve to be.

Having gained office experience in one of Dublin’s largest childcare organizations followed by hands on montessori experience over the last couple of years, I am extremely excited to begin this new chapter, working alongside Sara and building relationships with each child on a daily basis, seeing them grow and develop into strong, confident and caring individuals.
